Space Shuttle Endeavor launched on time this morning at 8:56 a.m.  We were able to view it for just a bit before it disappeared into the cloud cover.  This view is from our golf course driving range, which always is a favorite spot for people to view the launches.  NASA has not announced yet when the final launch of Atlantis, and the last shuttle launch ever, is scheduled.  We believe it will be sometime in July, so stay tuned as we will post as soon as we know.  Atlantis's launch will be the final chapter of the shuttle fleet before they are shipped off to various venues.  Atlantis will stay at Kennedy Space Center, a fitting spot for the last shuttle and the last shuttle launch.  Now is the time to make plans and bring the kids and grandkids to the Space Coast for this historical even.
